Hand Made Natural Scrub

Inspired by nature!

My simple homemade scrub

Another simple and organic skincare solution for gentle clean exfoliating.
It lets you get everything clean, removing dead skin cell, make-up…etc. I made it for face but please dont forget to avoid around eye area but u can double the amount of ingredients and use it also for body and feet.
If you are new to making your own beauty products (or even if you are a veteran natural beauty alchemist) I highly encourage you to try out these scrub recipes.

Here’s the recipe made out of very soft brown sugar, milled kernel, organic coconut oil, organic turmeric powder, and few drops of frankincense essential oil :
2 teaspoon sugar (brown soft sugar- preferably organic and very soft one)
a pinch of turmeric powder
2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tsp (coconut oil cold pressed, pure, organic)
8 drops lavender, frankincense oil pure or other essential oil available in your home

How to Make the scrub?
Mix all ingredients and store in an air tight jar.
Scrub skin with the mixture and rinse will. it will leave your skin feeling like silk. If remain little amount keep after that inside fridge.

Coconut oil is naturally good for acne prone skin because of its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It also contains lauric acid, which lifts dirt & bacteria as well.

Turmeric is an excellent exfoliating agent and can help you defeat the signs of ageing. Turmeric take care of the scars, stretchmarks, and inflammation but also reduce oil secretion by sebaceous glands. Inhibit hair growth

Frankincense oil promotes healthy cell regeneration and keeps existing cells and tissues healthy. It’s useful for skin health, and can help treat dry skin, reverse signs of aging, and reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars.

Why i love lemon juice in my scrub?
Fruits acids work by loosening the connection between the outer layer of dead skin cells, so that they can release themselves from the skin more easily: a more fresh and radiant skin becomes visible.

Dot forget: Recommending the process always before bad time, before one day of waxing process, maximum 2 times per week. Some temporary redness but scrubbed thoroughly clean. Over exfoliating can actually aggravate skin troubles like redness and sensitivity. By scrubbing you remove the outer layer of dead skin cells. Disadvantage of over exfoliation is that you often damage parts of the layer underneath. So you are actually irritating your skin, instead of looking after it! Scrubbing too hard is definitely not good. A very mild scrub may be used.
