Anti aging Night serum for difficult skin condition

Anti aging Night serum (for sensitive, “difficult” skin type and rosacea)

It’s time to share a recipe I’ve been secretly hiding (Oh no, I would never do that!…:)))
Homemade facial serum sounds incredibly sophisticated and complicated, but it’s one of my favorite NHL products. Homemade serum is relatively inexpensive to make compared to the expensive cost of single-use serums (with many questionable ingredients) found in stores. This homemade facial serum combines anti aging, nourishing and anti rosacea skin carrier oils (Borage, rosehip seed, evening primrose, aloe vera pure gel and the best anti aging essential oils, wild carrot oil and frankincense oil.

Rosacea often flares when something causes the blood vessels in the face to expand, which causes redness. The cause of rosacea is unknown, but it could be due to some combination of hereditary and environmental factors.Things that cause a flare-up are called triggers. Common triggers are exercise, sun and wind exposure, hot weather, stress, spicy foods, alcohol, and hot baths

Ingredients:

Borage oil, Evening Primrose oil, Rosehipseed oil, Cucumber oil, Aloe vera gel pure, Calendula oil, Frankincense oil, Wild carrot oil, Witch hazel, Vit E natural extract, Fragart (natural preservative extract).
For the best results always use organic, 100% pure oils.

Method

You can vary the ingredient measurements depending on the quantity you would like to prepare. Mix all the oils, witch hazel and vit. well and store in a dark glass bottle (most of the oils are very sensitive to the heat and light).
Essential oils in this case i add less than usual 1 drop to each 2 teaspoon of carrier oil.

Application

The best part about this serum is that, you don’t need to smear a lot of it! Rather, 3 or 4 drops should suffice to apply on your face and probably, neck.

Please shake the bottle before each time use.

Few words about some of the oils used on this serum…please google search about skin benefits of the other ingredients….

Evening primrose oil has proven to be a valuable treatment choice for people suffering from skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and most of atopic dermatitis. Studies published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science have even shown that evening primrose oil can help with age-related structural and functional changes in skin tissues, such as redness, firmness, roughness, and fatigue resistance.
Research shows that people with eczema, rosacea and sensitive skindon’t have the normal ability to process fatty acids; this results in a deficiency of gamma-linolenic acid, or GLA. GLA is an omega-6 fatty acid that the body can convert to substances that reduce inflammation and cell growth. Studies prove that evening primrose oil is remarkably effective in relieving many symptoms of eczema, including itching, redness, and edema.
The essential fatty acid gamma linolenic acid (GLA) from borage and other oils has been shown to be one of the most effective agents for the treatment of skin disorders and for the maintenance of healthy skin. The fatty acid profile of borage is unique in that it contains 20 to 24 percent GLA. Evening primrose oil contains 8 to 10 percent GLA and black currant oil contains 15 to 17 percent.

The popularity of borage oil as an ingredient in topical formulations for the skin is growing rapidly, based on the strong research showing that it is of benefit in the treatment of various skin conditions, including dry skin, eczema, inflammation, wounds, and dermatitis.

Rosehip seed oil Soothe Redness and Irritation
Naturally-occurring linoleic acid in rose hip seed oil has been found to possess anti-inflammatory properties which may help to heal and soothe damaged or dilated capillaries which cause redness in fair-skinned individuals.

Vitamin E natural extract Oil
Vitamin E oil is a natural preservative and can extend the shelf life of Rosehip oil, a reason why we’re adding it here. However, we all know Vitamin E is considered as skin Vitamin for its skin-friendly properties and is a great antioxidant. It helps with mild skin rashes, moisturizes your skin and soothes inflammation. It is also said to reduce the scars and dark spots with regular application.
